Morganti provided construction administration services for the State of Connecticut Colleges and Universities. This 67,000 sf project for Brownell Hall dormitory at Southern Connecticut State University included mechanical and electrical upgrades for an existing 194 dormitory room building. These upgrades included the removal and replacement of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. These systems consisted of a chiller, cooling tower, boiler, boiler breeching, corridor ventilating air handling unit, vertical stackable fan coil units, rooftop exhaust fans, domestic hot water heat exchanger, hydronic pumps, all receptacle outlets, lighting switches and the emergency lighting system. The direct digital control system for the building was upgraded to include mechanical and corridor lighting controls for the entire building.
