    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discover and explore opportunities.
    • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials; evaluate options; resolve internal priorities.
    • Pursue aggressive growth through proactive market analysis, strategic planning, opportunity screening and selection.
    • Assume lead role in managing active prospect lists and in preparing quarterly sales forecasts for management.
    • Implement company business plan and corporate policies to achieve overall objectives and profitability.
    • Model company core values in all activities.
    • Identify realizable revenue streams in each sector as well as the anticipated profit margins.
    • Attend key meetings to strengthen community ties and foster prospective business relationships.

    • Provide input into emerging training efforts for operations staff based on market trends.

    Job Description

    Duties & Responsibilities           

    • Accounts payable data entry
    • Expense report processing
    • Coordinate with Project Administrators and Project Managers for appropriate approval and coding of invoices
    • Maintain recurring accounts payable list
    • Weekly cash reporting
    • Weekly check run, including check printing
    • Monthly invoicing to clear out miscellaneous receivables (back-charges)
    • Organization of AP department including hard copy and electronic files
    • Maintain vendor database in software including creating new vendors
    • Complete month end close procedure and report to Group Financial Controller
    • Assist with monthly department budget analysis and distribution
    • Assist in special AP functions as needed

     

    Skills & Qualifications

    An Associate’s Degree in Business/Accounting plus two years accounting experience or equivalent combinations of training and experience. Knowledge of general construction accounting is preferred. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Computer experience is required along with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with Viewpoint accounting software is also preferred.
